Tincho & Lola is an Argentina based, accessory brand that I started in 2012, after my first design masters in Domus. This brand focuses on giving value back to the work local talented leather craftsmen. As a Product Director, I am in charge of product collection strategy, product design, development planning, pattern development, early prototype production, samples production and product testing. I am also in charge of analyzing costs, prices and margin, when defining the company’s product strategy. Finally I work closely with the person in charge of finances and the person in charge of marketing to coordinate actions such as sales and product launching.
Within the company I have successfully designed and developed more than 20 models within backpacks, totebags, sportsbags, clutches, weekenders, wallets, tech cases and messenger bags. I also, through special editions launched products of diverse nature, such as wooden clocks that were sold in SF MoMA, among other products of our line.
Products from the company were showcased in important design events and magazines. For example, we were invited to showcase in NY Wanted Design exhibit during the New York Design Week in 2016. We were also invited to participate in the Argentina’s booth of the french Maison et Objet trade show.
